DOUBLE_SCAN  è una performance/installazione che rievoca lo scanner, non come un dispositivodi acquisizione di informazioni digitali, ma si concentra sulla frequenza di oscillazioni della scansione luminosa di una superficie pittorica posta su materiale plastico trasparente. La video-proiezione attraversa l’opera econtinua la sua traiettoria nell’ambiente retrostante. Nello spazio frontale siriversano i riflessi dati dalla lucidità del pvc, generando un paesaggio interno incontinua vibrazione.

Il suono collabora in maniera fondamentale allo stato di tensione temporale e all’immersività dell’installazione, seguendo le oscillazioni sulle due tele trasparenti, poste in posizione contrapposta. Noise, synth granularicaratterizzano le timbriche scelte dal punto di vista sonoro.

Il corpo della performer attraversa la “zona” emotiva esperienziale dell’installazione; esplora lo spazio, interagisce con la materia e il suono ponendosi come “continuum” e offrendo l’equivalente sensoriale.

La presenza del corpo, percettivo e vibrante per sua natura, si manifestarestituendo immagini che respirano, vive.

DOUBLE_SCAN is a performance/installation that evokes the scanner, not as a device of digital information acquisition, but focuses on the frequency of oscillations of the light scan of a pictorial surface placed on transparent plastic material.

The video projection passes through the work and continues its trajectory in the space behind it. In the frontal space, the reflections given by the glossiness

of the pvc are reversed, generating an interior landscape with constant vibration.

Sound contributes fundamentally to the state of temporal tension and immersiveness of the installation, following the oscillations on the two transparent canvases, placed in opposite each other. Noise, granular synths characterise the chosen timbres from a sonic point of view.

The performer’s body traverses the emotional and experiential ‘zone’ of the installation; it explores space, interacts with matter and sound, positioning itself as a ‘continuum’ and offering the sensory equivalent.

The presence of the body, perceptive and vibrating by nature manifests itself by creating breathing, living images.
